Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Riesling from Villa Wolf (Loosen) is a dry style. It opens with a wet stone, limestone, and mild pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, a touch acidic and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a very tasty mild Bartlett pear with hints of pink grapefruit, green apple and a touch of gentle minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors subtly fade away. This Riesling is a very food friendly. It is delicate enough to pair with a baked Dover sole with herb butter. Enjoy - Ken
