Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from the Red Hills opens with a vanilla oak and a mild lemon meringue pie like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mild oak infused Bartlett pear with hints of apple, toffee and lemon. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This Chard is food friendly and it would pair well with chicken, broccoli and penne smothered with alfredo sauce. Enjoy - Ken
