Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored red blend opens with a ripe blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is a chalky blackberry with notes of black currant and a touch of black licorice and mild old oak. The finish is dry and its mild old tannins and some minerality show up as it closes. This wine would pair well with comfort food. Shepherd's pie comes to mind. Enjoy - Ken
