Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Nebbiolo is quite a deal. Especially for this grape. It opens with a fragrant cranberry and blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty plum and plush blueberry with hints of mild spice, craisin, and gentle oak. The finish is dry and its moderate friendly tannins are very food friendly. This wine is food friendly and would pair well with Kobe burgers or steak tips. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Offers up generous fruit along with menthol, spices and hard candy, showing notable intensity while retaining an essentially mid-weight style. Round, suave tannins add to the long and refined finish. Food Pairings: Hearty stew, wild game, roasted red meats and sharp, aged cheeses.
