Wine Review: This pale straw colored Riesling opens with a fragrant green apple, ginger ale and lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral infused green tea with notes of ginger ale and lime. Towards the end we picked up a touch of white pepper and grapefruit. The finish is semi-dry and its flavors linger nicely. This Riesling is food friendly and would pair nicely with spring rolls. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: On the nose, floral characters of orange blossom and Linden tree blossoms bloom, wafting over aromas of limes, dried apricots, roasted almonds and a hint of passion fruit. This dry Riesling moves into the mid-palate with a crisp attack where passion fruit and a hint of refreshing lemon grass reveal themselves. Length and minerality give the wine a lively finish.
