Wine Review: This brick colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Valley of the Moon is very good. It displays a pleasing blackberry, cedar, herb and light black pepper bouquet. It is medium to full bodied, pleasantly balanced and structured. I really enjoyed its black cherry, oak, and black tea flavors. It has a smooth, dry lingering finish along with nicely integrated light tannins. I found this pleasant Sonoma County Cab to be very meat friendly. I would pair this wine with a ribeye steak. - Joe
Winemaker Notes: This lush Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon offers pronounced dark cherry aromas with subtle notes of tarragon, star anise, and leather. Rich currant and cherry cordial flavors intermingle with caramelized oak accents while smooth tannins provide generous structure and finish. Drink now or hold for up to 10 years.
