Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored Cabernet from Argentina opens with a cassis and boysenberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and very fruit forward. The flavor profile is a ripe plum with notes of old oak and a touch of red currant and eucalyptus towards the end. The finish is dry an its flavors linger for a while after the wine is gone. This Cab will appeal to Malbec fans. It would also pair well with Mr. P's barbecue ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A classic Cabernet Sauvignon that can compete with the best from around the world. This wine has an intense red/purple color and an enjoyable, complex nose that is reminiscent of berries, spice, cedar, chocolate and much more. The nose carries through to the palate, delivering rich, full texture and berry-spicy-cedar flavors. It is a well-balanced wine with a lingering, pleasing finish.
