Wine Review: This opaque and dark purple colored red blend opens with a blueberry bouquet with a hint of vanilla oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a ripe black plum and boysenberry blend with hints of oak and black raspberry. The finish is dry and its flavors linger slightly with little to no tannins. This wine displays great fruit flavors and would pair very nicely with a NY strip steak. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The rich varietal flavor of the Cabernet Sauvignon grape grown in Argentina and aged in new oak results in a harmonious, velvety wine of great balance and prominent personality. This vintage is an intense and seductive violet red color, showing fruit aromas of plums, black cherries and mulberries mixed with spices, and leading to mature fruit and spice on the palate. As with most Enzo vintages, there is a long, smooth, very pleasing finish.
