Wine Review: This ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from VGS opens with cedar and black cherry bouquet with hints of red licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is graphite and cassis blend with notes of black tea and black cherry. We also detected hints of black licorice and cardamom. The finish is dry, and its well-managed moderate refined dusty tannins are very nicely sustained. We would pair this Cab with a New York strip steak. Enjoy – Ken
