Wine Review: This midnight purple colored red blend from VGS opens with a fragrant blueberry bouquet with hints of craisin and red plum. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, super smooth and silky. The flavor profile is a stewed black plum and black cherry blend with notes of mocha and oak. I also detected hints of blueberry and crushed stone minerality. The finish is dry and its moderate dusty tannins and its flavors drift away nicely. This wine is very food friendly and would pair well with a grilled hanger steak. Enjoy - Ken
