Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay is impressive. It opens with a mild oak and butterscotch bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced and creamy. The flavor profile is a tasty pear with notes of minerality, mild butterscotch and green apple. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Chardonnay would pair nicely with pasta carbonara. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The bouquet on this baby is so inviting, layer upon layer of tropical aromas dominated by fresh pineapples, dried peaches, apricots and zesty fresh lime. Floral notes of honeysuckle, vanilla and marzipan pull you in. In the mouth this wine is so rich and full bodied. A mouthfilling creamy texture nicely frames the vibrant acidity that make this wine a real pleasure. It delicately walks the balance between Burgundian minerailty and California ripeness. She is beauty to behold, but better enjoyed by tasting!
