Wine Review: This pitch-black colored Cabernet Sauvignon from V. Vineyard is Excellent. It opens with a mild black currant and cherry-cola bouquet with hints of vanilla. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, with nicely integrated acidity. The mouthfeel is soft, smooth, and silky. The flavor profile is a graphite and black currant blend with notes of oak, boysenberry, and oolong tea. We also detected some hints of blackberry mixed in. The finish is dry, and its big boy tannins build-up and stick around for a very very long time. The Panel would decant this Cab and pair it with a cowboy ribeye steak. Enjoy – KWGTP.
