Wine Review: This dark pink colored wine from V. Sattui opens with a mild strawberry and red plum bouquet with hints of maraschino cherry. On the palate this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and round. The flavor profile is a tasty spiced red plum and maraschino cherry blend with notes of cinnamon and watermelon. The finish is dry and refreshing. This quaffer did not last very long on the beach. It would pair well with shrimp scampi. Enjoy – Ken
