Wine Review: This golden yellow colored Chardonnay from V. Sattui opens with a light lemon and dried coconut bouquet with hints of pineapple and green apple. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, rich, and viscous. The flavor profile is a peach and ripe pineapple blend with notes of stony minerality and oak. I also detected hints of toasted coconut, cashews, and a touch of butterscotch. Its flavors and acidity are very nicely extended on the finish. I would pair this flavorful Chard with a bowl of lobster bisque with a sherry drizzle. Enjoy - Ken
