Wine Review: This straw-colored Riesling from V. Sattui opens with an orange peel and quince bouquet with hints of yellow peach and bee's wax. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, nicely round and viscous. The flavor profile is a quince and lemon verbena blend with notes of ginger ale and cantaloupe. We also detected hints of saline and a touch of pineapple. Its flavors and acidity drift away nicely on the finish. We would pair this Riesling with oysters on the half shell or a crab cocktail. Enjoy – Ken & Mark
