Wine Review: This deep golden straw-colored Chardonnay from V. Sattui opens with a golden raisin and honey bouquet with hints of ripe Bartlett pear and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and rich. The flavor profile is a poached Bartlett pear and mild honey blend with notes of oak, pineapple, and minerality. I also detected hints of green apple and vanilla custard.
