Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley opens with a cranberry and strawberry bouquet with hints of black pepper and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, very smooth, and gentle. The flavor profile is a red raspberry and strawberry blend with notes of red plum and clove. I also detected hints of oak, craisin, and rosemary. The finish is dry and its flavors and very fine tannins drift away nicely. I would pair this very food-friendly Pinot with a pan-roasted quail with dried cherries and a pinot noir sauce. Enjoy - Ken
