Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from V. Sattui opens with a currant and blueberry bouquet with hints of cedar, cinnamon, and roses. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, clean, and fresh. The flavor profile is blueberry and cedar blend with notes of stone dust and gentle black currant. We also detected hints of nutmeg, black tea, and red plum. The finish is dry, and its moderate polished tannins are nicely extended. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with Stuart's steak treats or beef bourguignon. Enjoy - KWGTP
