Wine Review: This dark garnet colored Cabernet Sauvignon from V. Sattui opens with an inviting eucalyptus and black currant bouquet with hints of pencil shavings, shoe leather, and cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and fruit forward. The flavor profile is extracted mulberry and stony minerality blend with notes of black raspberry and black tea. We also detected hints of oak, cinnamon, and orange zest. The finish is dry, and its fruity flavors and its dusty tannins stick around for a long time. This Cab would pair perfectly with Peking duck. Enjoy - KWGTP
