Wine Review: This deep garnet colored GSM from V. Sattui opens with a blackberry jam and espresso bouquet with hints of graphite and black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, super smooth and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a black currant and extracted blackberry blend with notes of black pepper and anise. I also detected some hints of black cherry and graphite. The finish is dry, and its moderate fine tannins are very nicely extended. I would pair this impressive red blend with Jiko's wild boar tenderloin. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our Entanglement is a delightful blend featuring Grenache, Syrah and Mourvédre that are sourced from our estate vineyard fruit. It has a very intense dark color, foretelling its deep, complex black fruit aromas that are complemented further by notes of cocoa and toasted sweet oak. Each sip presents itself with a soft mouthfeel, pleasantly balanced with lasting flavors of bright cherry and sweet dried herbs followed by smooth tannins.
