Wine Review: This golden yellow colored Chardonnay from V. Sattui is very good! It opens with a lemon butter, pineapple, and oak bouquet with hints of green apple. On the palate, this wine medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, creamy, lush, and concentrated. The flavor profile is a rich oak and pineapple blend with notes butterscotch and Bartlett pear. I also detected hints crème brulee and almond. The finish is dry and its flavors last for quite a long time. This Chard would pair well with a lobster bisque. Enjoy - Ken
