Wine Review: This cloudy and deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from V. Sattui opens with a blueberry and menthol bouquet with hints of clove and boysenberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with moderate acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and rich. The flavor profile is extracted boysenberry and stony minerality blend with notes blueberry. We also picked up some hints of menthol, vanilla, cola, and coconut. The finish is dry, and its tannins are nicely extended. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cabernet Sauvignon with a fireplace. With food, pair this Cab with a lamb stew. Enjoy – KWGTP
