Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a menthol, anise, and black currant bouquet with hints of coconut and plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, polished, and round. The flavor profile is a ripe black raspberry and plum blend with notes cocoa powder, oak, stony minerality, and mint. The finish is dry, and its flavors and medium tannins stick around for a bit. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with a bone-in filet mignon. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2019 Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon is one of our darkest wines and is an incredible dark violet/inky color. Its ripe aromas of black cherry, and currant are interwoven with savory notes of eucalyptus and bay leaf. This is a wine with no shortage of flavor, with a supple texture that is bursting with layers of juicy red and dark fruit followed by sweet, toasted oak and structured tannins.
