Wine Review: This deep garnet colored Malbec opens with a toasted coconut and raspberry bouquet. We also detected hints of boysenberry and crushed oyster shells. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balance and fresh. The flavor profile is black plum and dark cherry-cola blend with notes of strawberry licorice and oak. We also detected hints of lemon iced tea and a touch of mint. The finish is dry and its tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Malbec with lamb shanks. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2019 Malbec is exploding with "cherries jubilee." It is youthful and fruity while soft and round on the palate. The red cherry flavors last long into the finish. The light spice in this wine pairs nicely with smoky cured beef, fajitas, and exotic dishes like lamb tajine.
