Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from V. Sattui opens with a strawberry and pomegranate bouquet with hints of red raspberry and clove. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, juicy and a bit lively. The flavor profile is a juicy red plum and clove blend with notes of strawberry and nicely integrated stone dust minerality. I also detected some hints of red licorice and cola. The finish is dry and its flavors and fine tannins drift away nicely. This Pinot would pair well with pork chops with pomegranate glaze. Enjoy - Ken
