Wine Review: This medium purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from V. Sattui opens with a blackberry jam and graphite bouquet with hints of cedar and boysenberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth, velvety, and nicely balanced. The flavor profile is juicy red plum and cherry-cola blend with notes mocha and pomegranate. We also detected hints of anise, graphite, and tea. The finish is rather dry and dusty tannins stick around for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with Brazilian fire roasted beef alcatra. Gordon Ramsey's Steak Diane, or with a charcuterie board. Enjoy – KWGTP
