Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Syrah opens with a blueberry pie bouquet with hints of mint and cigar box. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and velvety smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry and acai berry blend with notes of gentle integrated minerality and black cherry. We also picked up some hints of milk chocolate, oak and black tea in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and its moderate tannin drift away nicely. This Syrah is food friendly and would pair nicely with w New York strip steak or braised short ribs. Enjoy – Ken and Mark
