Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with black currant and blackberry bouquet with a hint of saddle leather and blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with nicely integrated acidity. The mouthfeel is silky smooth, very well-balanced, and voluptuous. The flavor profile is black currant and stewed black plum blend with notes of crush stone minerality and oak. Hint of rooibos tea and clove. The finish is dry and its dusty fine tannins initially stick around for a very long time. With some aeration, they settle in and become nicely integrated. The Panel would pair this elegant and polished Cab with Stuart’s steak treats or with a mushroom risotto. Enjoy – KWGTP
