Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a blackberry and blueberry bouquet with hints of damp earth and black licorice. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated acidity. The mouthfeel is very nicely balanced, smooth, and silky. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry and blackberry blend with notes of stony minerality, clove and black currant. We also detected hints of black tea, oak, and mint. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins build-up and stick around for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with porterhouse steak with white truffle butter or with beef bourguignon. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Shows incredibly inky, black color; it has ripe aromas of blackberry and black cherry, with floral plum blossom, dried nutmeg and savory spice in the nose. It is soft, round and very elegant on the palate, with tremendous intensity of fruit flavor and fabulous richness, supple tannins and a hint of cassis on the finish.
