Wine Review: This white gold colored Gewurztraminer is very fragrant. It features a lychee, ginger and apricot pit bouquet with a hint of honey. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, pleasantly acidic, round and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty lychee and ginger blend with nicely integrated minerality. There are also notes of apricot pit and some hints of yellow grapefruit and honey that appear after the wine is gone. Its ripe fruit makes the wine seem a tad off-dry. I loved the length of this wine. It is unusually long for a white wine. This is my style of Gewurtz. I would pair it with Emeril's crab cakes. Enjoy - Ken
