Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley opens with a fragrant mulberry and spiced plum bouquet with a hint of cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, soft and juicy. The flavor profile is a loam and stony mineral blend with notes of spiced plum, cola and toasted oak. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This old school styled Pinot benefits from aeration and was even better on day two. It would pair well with authentic German Jägerschnitzel (hunter schnitzel with mushroom gravy) Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Cool marine air lovingly caresses these grapes grown to the northwest of the Napa Valley, resulting in a delicate, but fully-flavored wine that opens with an inviting bouquet of cherry, raspberry, and cinnamon spice aromas that lead to a powerful and sensual palate of blossoming violets, savory sage, and raspberry flavors.
