Wine Review: This dark ruby colored kitchen sink blend opens with a faint black raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, round and savory. The flavor profile is a mild black cherry with hints of dark chocolate, and blueberry with a hint of cardamom and a touch prune at the very end. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for a while after the wine is gone. This crowd-pleasing wine improved with some aeration and developed nicely. I would pair it with your favorite burger off the grill. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This pre-prohibition blend of old-vine reds is purple-hued and opaque in color, with enchanting aromas of espresso, black tea and a hint of violets and blueberry. The wine is big in stature, with black cherry, dark chocolate, mocha and a delightful earthy note. It offers a mouthful of powerful black fruit flavors and aromas, with supple tannins that are round on the palate and balanced by subtle, oaky spice and lingering finish.
