Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from V. Sattui is very good. It opens with a black currant and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry with notes of gentle minerality and oak. I also detected hint of plum and black olive. The finish is dry and its flavors and well-managed mild refined tannins drift away nicely. This Cab would pair well with a filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken
