Wine Review: This pitch-black colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with an attractive blueberry, graphite and cassis bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced and fruit forward. Those fruit flavors are ripe blackberry and stewed plum with notes of integrated graphite. I also detected hints of cherry-cola. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins and fruit flavors show very nice length. This Cab would pair well with duck confit. Enjoy - Ken
