Wine Review: For those that like a fuller sparkling wine, this is it. This Champagne alternative is loaded with toasted brioche, caramelized apples and pears, vanilla, and orange zest. The bubbles are robust, plentiful and fill your mouth if you're not careful with the size of your sips. I believe the wine has hit its peak as far as flavor maturation is concerned, but there is at least another five years of life left in the bottle. This is a sipper, as it has the right components for it. However, it would also pair nicely with a charcuterie board. - Nicolay
Winemaker Notes: Produced using classic French "Method Champenoise" with a secondary fermentation in the bottle, this late-disgorged sparkler is perfect for celebrating any occasion. The 2012 Prestige Cuvee has toasty notes with nuances of apple and pear. Enjoy its dry fruitiness and soft, creamy entry. Tiny bubbles coat the mouth, leaving a crisp, refreshing finish.
