Wine Review: This is a very good Vermentino. You would never guess it came from Lodi. It is white gold colored and opens with mild honey and Bosc pear like bouquet with a hint of apricot. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused Anjou pear with notes of white pepper, spice and a hint of lime. The finish is dry and its minerality lingers well after the wine is gone. I would pair this wine with steamed mussels in garlic broth or with chicken lo-mein. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Fresh and supple; lively yet subtle lime, quince and pear aromas; flavors of melon and stone fruits. Pair with Seared Sea Scallops with Sorrel sauce.
