Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Shiraz opens with a blackberry bouquet with hints of smoked meat. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a fine-grained mineral and blackberry jam blend with notes of red plum and oak. I also detected some hints of red licorice and a dash of black pepper. On the finish, its flavors and its moderate tannins stick around for a very long time after the wine is gone. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Angel’s Share Shiraz is deep dark red colored with a luminous purple core. It has vibrant aromas of blueberries over-layed with dried violet petals and gentle woody spices. I displays a soft entry that quickly fans out and saturates the palate. It’s a perfect blend of power and elegance. Medium to full bodied in nature, this Shiraz has ample fruit purity combined with lively savory nuances.
