Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Turnbull opens with a black currant and blackberry bouquet. with hints of caramel, toasted almond, and chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, rich and really smooth. The flavor profile is blackberry and macerated black cherry blend with notes of licorice snaps, black currant, dark chocolate, and oak. We also detected hints of clove and black tea. The finish is dry, and its bold flavors and moderate tannins show very nice length. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cabernet Sauvignon with a New York strip steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
