Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Turley really impressed our mini-group of tasters. It opens with a black raspberry and boysenberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, slightly acidic along with full-palate coverage. The flavor profile is a boysenberry and plum blend with notes of minerality and clove. We also detected hints of cherry-cola mixed in. The finish is dry and its flavors and faint tannins fade away nicely. Our group thought this would pair well with beef bourguignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Certified organic. This wine has ripe, classic Napa Cabernet fruit, rounded out by the savory herbs and garrigue that are the marks of our Estate vineyards. Medium-bodied, with great structure and a smooth, texture and long, graceful finish. Immensely enjoyable in its youth, though the wine can easily age for 5 to 10 years as well.
