Wine Review: This dark coral colored Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir) from Italy opens with a red cherry and ginger ale bouquet with hints of stony minerality and lime. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and savory. The flavor profile is a chalky minerality and mild red cherry blend with notes of lemon-lime. I also detected hints of white pepper and ginger.
