Wine Review: This Rose from Truno Vineyards is the first wine in a can we have covered. Tasting Panel members Joe and Mark joined me on this visit to the winery on the Cape. This offering is light orangish pink colored and opens with an inviting light strawberry and watermelon bouquet with a hint of tangerine. On the palate, we found this wine to be medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral infused mild tangerine with hints of white grapefruit and a touch of white pepper towards the end. The finish is dry and quite refreshing. This a perfect beach wine for summer. As a matter of fact, Truro created this wine in a can in a partnership with the Wellfleet Beachcomber. Be sure to pick up some soon and pair it with a crab cocktail. Enjoy – KWGTP (This wine is also offered via a 750 ml bottle)

Winemaker Notes: Our classic dry Rose, made from 100% Grenache. The grapes are picked and immediately whole cluster pressed to achieve crisp acidity and ripe luscious fruit flavors.
