Wine Review: This light gold colored Chardonnay opens with a fragrant lemon and oak bouquet with hints of custard. On the palate, this wine was medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and very smooth. The flavors profile is an oak influenced gentle Bosc pear with notes of herbal tea and Nilla wafer. I also detected hints of golden delicious apple, honeycomb, and almond. The finish is dry and its flavors, and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this Chard with a lobster roll. Enjoy - Ken
