Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Trump Winery in Virgina opens with an inviting red plum and red currant bouquet with hints of balsam and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity The mouthfeel is fresh, juicy, and very clean. The flavor profile is a blend of red plum and red cherry with notes of cedar and dried strawberry. We also detected hints of oolong tea and milk chocolate. The finish is dry, and its well-integrated gentle tannins linger nicely. This Virgina Cab paired nicely with Dave’s chicken parmigiana from Lucia's. - Dave & Ken
