Wine Review: This well-priced deep ruby colored reserve red blend is 50% Malbec and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. The blend opens with an inviting plum, blackberry, light bramble, and oak bouquet. The full bodied palate is smooth, dry, juicy, and bold with balanced tannins. The flavor profile is a black plum, black cherry, black licorice, and oak blend with notes of olives, spice, and black pepper. The pleasant dry finish lingers nicely. I would recommend pairing this Argentinian Red Blend with a spicy Italian sausage and pasta dish with mushrooms and marinara sauce. - Joe
Winemaker Notes: At sight it presents an intense garnet red color with brick-colored reflections, on the nose both varietals complement each other, standing out the ripe black fruit reminiscent of blackberry as well as spicy aromas. The oak contact plays a fundamental role in the aromatic complexity, revealing notes of tobacco, vanilla and cinnamon. The weight and structure of this blend is felt in the mouth, while remaining a drinkable wine. The finish on the palate recalls everything perceived on the nose.
