Wine Review: This white gold colored Riesling opens with a grapefruit, pineapple, and bee’s wax bouquet with hints of ginger, mango, and almond. On the palate, this wine medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a blend of green apple, Squirt soda and honeydew melon along with notes of ginger, stony minerality and vanilla. Even though it says Demi-Sec, we thought this wine was on the dry side and refreshing. The Tasting Panel would pair this Riesling with oysters, crab stuffed sole or with a grouper po-boy.
