Wine Review: This straw-colored Chardonnay from the Finger Lakes opens with a moist bread dough and lemon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and delicate. The flavor profile is a blend of bread dough, green apple, and honeydew melon with notes of gentle oak and almond. I also detected hints of underripe pineapple and chalky minerality towards the finish. The finish is dry and pleasant. This Chard is food friendly and versatile. I would pair it with a linguini and clams plate dowsed with a white wine and garlic broth. Enjoy - Ken
