Wine Review: This pale peach colored wine from Tres Sabores opens with an attractive watermelon and Maraschino cherry bouquet with a hint of strawberry, tangerine and a whiff of matchstick. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with gentle acidity. Overall it is nicely balanced, round and juicy. The flavor profile is a very tasty mild white peach with notes of integrated delicate minerality. I also detected hints of lime zest, watermelon, green tea and a dash of white pepper. The finish is dry and it drifts away nicely. This Rose is very food friendly and a bit of a quaffer. It paired perfectly with chilled shrimp cocktail. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: A graceful and enticing dry Rosé made from our beloved Rutherford estate grapes with a splash of fruit from Calistoga. Intense strawberry aromas with playful citrus zest. This unorthodox rosé is reminiscent of a Provencal style, fermented dry with perfect acidity and a spicy accent. Its alcohol levels allow for perfect food pairing! A beautiful wine to enjoy chilled on a hot summer day!
