Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored Cab opens with mild blueberry and gentle blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, rather smooth, and easy going. The flavor profile is a gentle blueberry with notes of mild black cherry, boysenberry, and cedar. The finish is dry and its fine tannins are slightly prolonged. This wine is very food friendly and very much a drink now wine. Pair with veal scallopini sautéed in a brown sage butter sauce. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: You may call it "a classic Rutherford Cab" or a "classic Cabernet that just happens to be from Rutherford" but you will taste a textural, most pleasing wine in the glass. As with its predecessors, the 2007 Perspective was organically grown on the estate, 100% varietal, and was aged in 90% new French oak for 22 months before bottling.
