Wine Review: I enjoyed this Cabernet Sauvignon from Treana! It is deep ruby red colored and opens with a ripe plum and blackberry bouquet that also includes herbs and some light oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, smooth, jammy, bold and chewy. The flavor profile features blueberry, plum, black licorice and clove along with a touch of sweet malted milk chocolate. The tannins mesh nicely with the palate and are well-balanced. It nicely coats your mouth and then pleasantly fades away. I would pair this Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso with braised short ribs over mashed potatoes. - Joe
Winemaker Notes: An excellent display of Paso Robles Cabernet. At first glance, this dark crimson wine sets the stage for the beautiful aromas of warm chocolate, roasted coffee and toasty cedar. On the palate, intense dark fruit, sweet vanilla combines with smoky-oak to give a long rich mouth feel that finishes with balanced acidity and moderate, velvety tannins.
