Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a fragrant black cherry and vanilla oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral infused black currant with notes of cherry-vanilla and oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins and flavors show nice length. I would pair this very nice Cab with a New York strip steak. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Appearance: Opaque, deeply colored purple black. Aroma: Bold, muddled blackberry, ripe black currants, blueberry syrup, crushed violets, roasted coffee, sweet vanilla, caramel, and clove. Palate: Rich and palate coating, the intense black fruit flavors are marked by a distinctive toasted/smoky-oak. The tannins are moderate and velvety, and the acidity balances the richness of the wine, leading to a long oak-driven finish.
